Cancellation & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to appointments and product orders placed via our website. It does not
affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Appointments

Deposits

  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your appointment.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.

Rescheduling

If you reschedule with at least 24 hours notice, your deposit can be transferred to a
new appointment (subject to availability).

Cancellations

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Deposit remains non-refundable but may be transferred to a new
    booking.
  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: Deposit is forfeited and cannot be transferred.
  • Same-Day Cancellations: Are treated as less than 24 hours notice and the deposit
    will be forfeited.

No-Shows

If you do not attend your appointment, your deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will
be required to rebook.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your treatment time may be reduced to avoid delaying other clients. The full treatment price may still apply.

Refusal of Treatment

If, on arrival, you are unsuitable for treatment due to medical, consultation or safety
reasons that were not previously disclosed, your deposit may be forfeited.

Product Orders (Katherine Daniels) — Collection Only

Right To Cancel (change of mind)

  • If you are ordering online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14
    days of receiving your goods
  • For collection orders, this is usually the day you collect them.
  • To cancel, please contact us at cheryl@tranquilityroom.co.uk within the cancellation
    period.

Returns Conditions

For hygiene and safety reasons:

  • We can accept returns for unused, unopened items in their original packaging.
  • We cannot accept returns for items that have been opened or used, or where a seal
    has been broken (unless the item is faulty).

Refunds

Once returned goods are received and checked, refunds will be issued to the original
payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If an item is faulty or damaged at the point of collection, please contact us as soon as
    possible (ideally within 48 hours) with details and photos where possible.
  • Faulty goods are covered by your consumer rights.

Collection Time Limit

  • Orders must be collected within 14 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed.
  • After this time, we may cancel & refund the order.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months, from the date of purchase.
  • Physical gift vouchers can be purchased in the treatment room or by sending your
    details via WhatsApp to Cheryl on 07765568818.
  • Vouchers are valid for the amount stated or the treatment(s) described on the
    voucher.
  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for
    cash in whole or in part.
  • Vouchers may be used as full or part payment for treatments or products.
  • No change will be given. Any unused balance will remain on the voucher and may be
    used for future purchases, provided the voucher is still valid.
  • Once a voucher has expired, it can no longer be used or accepted at Tranquility
    Room. Please ensure your treatment or product is booked and redeemed before the
    expiry date.
  • Please Note: Gift vouchers must be used within the stated validity period and will
    not be extended.
